Struck out this morning. What a scene at the Best Buy, Circuit City and Comp USA.
I first went to the two Costco's near me this morning around 6. They had a sign up that said they would give out raffle tickets to all takers and hold a drawing for the 24 machines at each one. I returned at 9 after looking at all the other hot spots. I was in a crowd of maybe 45 people until about 9:45 when the world showed up. The drawing was held at 10:10 and had about 300 tickets for 24 boxes. Swing and a miss.
Good news was that I'm 2nd on the preorder list and when I went to the Game Crazy my manager guy said that 4 boxes hadn't been picked up yet and they have until tonight at 8 to do so. If they don't I might get my hands on one of them in the morning.
Sorry to hear Arm...but hopefully we'll see you on before the weekend is out.
Call up Mondo. He'll take out those people so they'll never pick up their preorders.
