I just confirmed with my local EB Games that I will not be in the first group of Xbox 360's shipped for the 22nd release date. Free and I reserved ours in early August, and were 48th and 49th in line. Last week, they anticipated 75 consoles as an intitial inventory, but were informed recently that they will only be getting 35. They expect the next inventory to arrive within 2 weeks. Looks like there will not be a 360 LAN party this Thanksgiving. The bastards.

It is unclear still for the Game Crazy I'm booked with. I was down there last night reserving Duty, Kameo, and Amped 3 along with a second controller and a controller power pack. I was told it will not be a problem, but still got the idea that he was not clear. I'm 24 on the reserve list there.

I'm in by the hair on my chin, I ordered on 8/24 and I just got this message from EB Games.
Currently, we anticipate enough inventory at launch to fill all orders for the Ultimate Bundle placed before August 30 and all orders placed for the Core Bundle before October 28. You can check the My Orders section of EBgames.com to verify the day that you placed your order. Pending payment approval, we plan to ship orders from this first shipment on Monday, November 21, at the shipping service level you selected. We do not have firm information on subsequent shipments at this time and will ship future orders as inventory becomes available.

I can't believe it. Free and I ordered ours at our local EB games on 8-19, and are out of luck. We'll all be at your house if you get it for the Thanksgiving break.
