Very bizzare. Powered up tonight when I got settled in...red light, E 74 error.

Then I come on here and see this. Pretty weird.

I'm troubleshooting now, but it looks terminal.

Hilarious post in a sad laughing cry way. No limping of my launch console Shark. Mine just snapped into 3 red rings. No screen shot or error message either. Perhaps yours still has life. Is it a launch console also? I'm going to pick up an Elite now, but am trying to figure out which lot number is a Falcon with the 65 nanometer chips in them. Most Best Buys down here have lot number 0802 and were made this year, but I haven't confirmed they are the Falcon. Hope you have some luck with you error message Shark. From the dark we will emerge stronger and better than before.

It will be good to have two 360's in the house.

No life left in it. It was a lunch console also. Strange how they would give up within hours of each other.

I have no worries though. It'll be on its way to the repair depot in no time, to be replaced with a newer version of itself that doesn't blink red lights.

Where is my yo-yo?

The coffin showed up today Shark. I've got it packed and will ship it back out tomorrow. Lets see how long each of our consoles takes.
Start the egg timer as 3/6/08 for Armleg.

Oh man Shark, I can't believe I'm reading this. Are you kidding me? The timing is uncanny. Very sorry to hear about your loss. I got the E74 error on mine too.

Does Swede have her own console? Hopefully you guys can play split screen while yours is out for repair.

Good luck.

Congrats on your new addition Armleg. Hope the Elite treats you well. Once you play the black it's hard to go back.

Fired up the new beauty and it is so quiet. Even with the DVD drive turning full speed it is much quieter than my jet engine was. Jack will be thrilled when his comes back from the repair shop and he has his own to play on. Of course I'll be happy to have a back up in case of another loss. Game on.

Box arrived and Xbox sent to the depot.

Just for Free, the time of dropoff on the recipt...4:20. Good omen.

In the meantime, I'll be kickin it old-school on H2, original Xbox style. Come join me. :)

I love the receipt time. That is a good sign. The return race will be fun to watch. I hope the repairs go perfectly for you both.

BTW, I updated the title of the post to honor both of your losses.
