On a similar note, I receieved the demo disc for Rainbow 6 Vegas on Friday. It came with the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine. I have to say the game is really good. It takes the best of RB6, Slpinter Cell and Ghost Recon and blends them into a well-crafted and visually stunning game. The controls are easy to pick up and the flow of the game is excellent. Like GRAW and GOW, using cover is the key to survival. But unlike GRAW, going in an out of cover flows smoothly, making for a better paced game. The team controls are much improved and your teammates actually help instead of dying all the time like GRAW.
Turns out we'll have to wait until November 20 (21st actually) for Vegas to be released. That means there will be plenty of time to play Gears of War, and maybe some Halo 2 thrown in for good measure.

Long live H2 Tuesdays. Until H3 somethings. Thanks for the update on RB6 Vegas. Glad you like it in the demo. And I'm really enjoying Chromehounds...but not at 2130 on Tuesdays.
I need to suck it up and join my friends in H2, whom I miss playing with very much. I fear I have burned out on Halo badly and have no desire to put that disc in my console. I do Hope that GOW, or Vegas will bring us all together again. Moreover, I hope that the additional matchmaking settings built into the 360 will make H3 a better environment for playing. Granted that no 360 game has come close to the number players online that H2 boasts, but having joined numerous match-made sessions in BF2MC, PGR3 and Chromhounds, the difference it noticeable and enough to keep me from H2.
I was going to pick up Chromehounds, but I just don't know what the group is going to play this week.
At $60/game, I can't really afford to grab each new fad off the shelf, and I'm interested to see if GOW or Vegas get the nod going into the wintertime for the clan.
For now, and tonight, 2130 H2 Tuesdays rule...but on those other nights, let's get a game that we can all agree on a couple months of play out of and I'll go get that. :)
