Nice job with the links Shark. I'll say it's a big news day. Have to say I'm very excited and impressed to see Peter Jackson and Fran Walsch's growing involvement with Microsoft Game Studios. That's a huge score for both MS and us gamers. What could their Halo game be? What would you want? On another note, the Web site for Halo Wars just went live, with a trailer: www.halowars.com
What about DOOM as an Arcade game? What do you all think? Can't say I'm super psyched on that one, but it would be fun to play 4-person co-op with you guys.
Doom is more of the "been there, done that" for me. I would like to see more unique Arcade titles and new franchises come to the arcade.
I was somewhat disappointed last week, for example, that Fuzion Frenzy 2 will be a full game instead of an arcade title.
Besides that, I think the lineup coming in the next 6 months is quite amazing and I think MS has the partners now to make a compelling run for the top of the console market.
Bring on Halo of all kinds. I have hard nipples.
