Some reports out on the net today point for the X360 release date to be November 4th, with a msrp of $299 (not suprising). Top games would be bumped up to $59.99 (some pressure from EA on this one -- they have been wanting to go from $50 to $60/game for a while) and would likely go on sale/drop price after a few weeks.
November 4 is a good date though. Roughly 93 days to launch. You'll see me in line.

That leaves backwards compatibility and HD-DVD as the last remaining questions surrounding the 360. I've also heard that there will be some official announcements at the upcoming game conference in Germany.
Let's see $1000 for HD TV, $299 for 360, $60 for Perfect Dark Zero and $60 for Battlefield. That's going to be one expensive day. Better start saving...
