Check Your Rock Band DLC
Via X3F:
A heads up to anyone who has purchased Rock Band DLC, you may have to re-download some of your songs. Yesterday, Harmonix informed us that they rolled out patches for five of the DLC songs that fixes how they get sorted in-game and a bug where one of the songs' vocals doesn't turn off. These five songs (listed after the break) need to be re-downloaded which can be achieved by deleting the DLC from your hard drive then re-downloading them off the XBLM (at no extra charge). Also, Harmonix made it clear that the leaderboards will not be affected seeing that the patches do not change the actual gameplay. Happy re-downloading.
Rock Band DLC Affected by Patches
- Police Pack 01
- "Can't Stand Losing You" by The Police
- "Roxanne" by The Police
- "Synchronicity II" by The Police
- "Brass in Pocket" as made famous by The Pretenders
- "Limelight" as made famous by Rush

Termas reunion in Southern Mexico - Xbox Live Marketing is reaching far and wide.

Our very own Termas is traveling with his wife Kelly and their two year old in their big red van for three months in Mexico. They invited us down to stay a week with them. I pulled away from the Xbox with some tears running down my face and we went.
We played some cards in the afternoons to fill our gaming tanks. Ate at the most amazing "Abuela Bonita" restaurant with the whole family. The grandma called her kids up to help her when the eleven of us filled her two table restaurant. The sauces and food she made off of two small stone top ovens was delicious. We cooked most meals at the house and drank plenty of Victoria beer all week.
The town of Los Llanos and La Saladita Beach are about an hour north of Zihuantanejo and very rural. One problem was no gaming for the week. Then it happened. Termas said he saw a machine taylormade for the 2130.
It has two original Xbox controllers mounted on metal posts. The guts of this big guy were ripped out to make room for the xbox and somehow a quarter dollar gives the black/green beauty life. Well this one was unplugged but she gave us hope and a renewed sense of who we are! Viva La Xbox! Viva La 2130!
Free the hermit crabs shred on Tony Hawk. We thought you might know this famous crab Free?
And Mrs. Armleg at the end of a left off the point at La Saladita with my father in-law Jack. Great trip and we now can rest easy that Termas will return in April with a renewed sense of xboxself. He says hello to all and misses the 2130.

MMO from Crackdown Devs
APB is definitely one of the more interesting titles to come out of the GDC conference this week. It's basically a cops and robbers MMO that's being made by Realtime Worlds, the guys who did Crackdown. Still not sure if it's coming to consoles or PC only. Hit up the post at Destructoid for more details and videos.

This One Has Potential
The multiplayer demo for Frontlines is up on the Marketplace. It's very similar to Battlefield (yes, you can parachute out of the helicopters), only with more class options, weapons and vehicles, and more focused battles due to the frontline dynamic.
Wonky voice chat is one of the things that sucked on Battlefied. Apparently voice chat is handled in squads for Frontlines. For example, if you're playing on a 16-player team (dedicated servers will host up to 32-player battles) the first thing you would do is form up into a 4-player squad. Then you have open mic chat within that squad. Unfortunately, there's no way to talk with the rest of your team outside of your squad, but they're looking to fix that post-launch with an update.
Let's try the multiplayer demo one of these nights.
