This is the first time that I have ever heard the Halo theme song used in vain. Hurley Phantom board shorts? Can you see the Master Chief in them or Machado riding in a warthog? I don't get it.

Quiet Your Rock Band Drums

Here's a nice do-it-yourself solution for quieting your Rock Band drums:

Time for Rock Band Arts and Crafts

Timo and I both used this technique, though slightly modified, and are quite pleased with the results. Instead of putting the colored felt on top, we put it on the bottom and put the black foam on top. It looks a lot better.

We cut the colored felt (bottom layer) a little larger than the black foam (top layer) so you get the same colored outline as the stock pad. We used these diameters: 6 1/2 inches for the foam rubber and 6 7/8 inches for the colored felt. This leaves a little bit of the colored part of the original surface peaking out around the edges.
