Call of Doodie Takes Top Spot

As someone who's yet to play COD4, this is surprising. I assume H3 will takeover again when the new maps are released. Good to see Rock Band creeping up the list.

A Day in the Life of a Portal Turret

Back to Our Roots

I'm definitely looking forward to Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Especially being able to play the entire single player campaign in 4-player co-op. Here's a first look:

Shark Video (Language NSFW)

Came across this on Destructoid and had to share it for the Sharkie factor. I think it speaks well to the magnitude of pwnage he can deal on Live. You can watch this one at work, just make sure you have your headphones on for the language.

Halo Theme Song In An Ad?

This is the first time that I have ever heard the Halo theme song used in vain. Hurley Phantom board shorts? Can you see the Master Chief in them or Machado riding in a warthog? I don't get it.

Quiet Your Rock Band Drums

Here's a nice do-it-yourself solution for quieting your Rock Band drums:

Time for Rock Band Arts and Crafts

Timo and I both used this technique, though slightly modified, and are quite pleased with the results. Instead of putting the colored felt on top, we put it on the bottom and put the black foam on top. It looks a lot better.

We cut the colored felt (bottom layer) a little larger than the black foam (top layer) so you get the same colored outline as the stock pad. We used these diameters: 6 1/2 inches for the foam rubber and 6 7/8 inches for the colored felt. This leaves a little bit of the colored part of the original surface peaking out around the edges.

Finally, for those of you who aren't feeling crafty. You can purchase something similar from rockbanddrumpads.com.
