With Free on vacation in Telluride, I will try and step up with a post or two. I noticed that the achievements for Halo 3 have been published. I think it is a great mix of online and offline achievements, as well as most of them look reasonably attainable. Only three months, and you can start adding these to your gamer score.

I have to say I am excited about this game. I just hope it's more simulatory than arcadey, if you get my drift. These special controllers are a good sign I'd say.

Everyone loves heatsinks

I count myself very lucky that my console has never flickered the read rings of death. I am planning on getting one of the new 360s running the 65nm chipsets in hopes that it will not be as loud and with luck, more dependable than the original hardware. I think most of you would agree that the failure rate is higher than it should be on the 360, and was happy to read -- courtesy of Destructiod -- Microsoft trying to fix the original hardware.
