Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer Patch 2

Dear Call of Duty Community:

As you recall, we announced plans that we were working on our second Title Update for Call of Duty 2, improving the Xbox Live multiplayer functionality. We’re happy to report that this update is currently in the final stages of testing and all is going well. In fact, we will be releasing it soon, so stay tuned. To give you a better understanding of what we have been working on, the second COD2 Title Update will have the following enhancements:

1. Player Lag has been addressed

Plus, we have added the following functionality:

2. Private Game Lobbies / Reserved Slots

3. Enabled the Live Host to set custom game options

4. Map Preferences setting

5. Post Game Lobbies (all players at end of match will return to their game lobby)

6. Enemy Player Name Notification

7. Ability for the Host to kick a player

8. In game Lobby - Game Type, Map and Host Notifications

GR3 in 2 Weeks

Two weeks till the next Ghost Recon ships. Can't wait for some fun Co-Op missions. That is until Armleg team kills again. Reviews of this game have really come around since Ubisoft has shown off a near final build of the game. They have good things to say about the online play.

Major update to Connect360

Regarding Termas' earlier post about getting your 360 and Mac to talk to one another, an update to the software has just been released. I wasn't able to get it to work the first time around. Hopefully this update will help.

A Night On The Town

Since Mondo and Sharkie couldn't join us for the last 2130 LAN party, they decided to have their own night on the town recently. This exclusive paparazzi photo brilliantly captures the effects of Mondo's recent hair-growth treatment. Now that he's tested the formula on his bangs, he's decided to start the treatment on his back. Sharkie, on the other hand, is looking ravishing in his pink dress, elbow-length gloves and jewel-encrusted tiara. It's been reported that he now prefers to play Xbox in his gloves. Mondo was last seen waving his sword wildly at the neighbors yelling, "Get back here you noob bitches!"

Hoops Tournament 1st Round Battles

Like a bad game of slayer snipers in H2, Sleepy and Armleg are headed to a decisive Game 3 in their series between the Bulls and Heat. Will youthful exuberance, along with Wade and Shaq who have combined for 82 of Miami's 135 points come out on top? Or will experience, patience, and the good sniper-like shooting of Armleg and his over-matched team win the pivotal game to advance to the finals?

Meanwhile, in the West, Free and Shark duke it out in a NorCal-SoCal battle of Kings and Lakers. The Kings took Game 1 last night after a close game in which the Lakers ran out of gas.

Follow all the action at the 2130 Clan Sports Site and cheer on your favorite team and Bench Master Chief.

LANtastic Friday

A few photos from the LAN party on Friday night, with our special guest Rossco. We started out with a picnic dinner at Island Brewing Co. and then came back for Halo 2. Special thanks to Arrstd for buying the beer at the brewery, Gronk for bringing more beer home, Tenlin for cooking the gourmet macaroni & cheese, Armleg for the Xbox 360 nerf footballs and pens, and DK for taking the pictures. Timo, Dunkel, Termas, Sachel and Muscongus were sorely missed.
